Pritchard Industries Company is seeking an Office Assistant in the Philadelphia area.
This position will provide support to the operations team, clients, and vendors through a variety of tasks.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to leadership staff.
Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, reports, and other documents.
Arranges travel and accommodation when required.
Maintain contracts, bids, and order office supplies.
Prepare bid proposals, presentations, and budget letters.
Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff member.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new software.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma required.
Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but not required.
At least four years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
